[Taiwan Diary]: Airport Incidence...

In BangKok airport while I was immersed in thoughts I saw a Mother asking her 5-6 years old daughter to go and inquire about flight information. She forced her to go and then she came, sat beside me. Her daughter was looking continuously at her mother, she was very much hesitant to go. But this mother was shouting at her to go and ask. I was thinking why this lady instead of herself inquiring doing like this.

Somehow child asked and came back. Mother asked her daughter, “what did you ask?” child replied something, then again she asked what did they tell?, kid replied, then she asked, “what did you understand ?” kid thought for few seconds and told, then that lady told, “this is how we supposed to ask question and get the answer”.

She was teaching her daughter about inquiring at that so early age itself!!!

[My Insights]: Short boy and the bell…

There was a bell at a height of around 6.5 feet in the beach. A bunch of boys were playing around. Boys who were little tall were able to jump and hit the bell. But there was one short boy. He shouted,” I want to hit the bell”, one tall boy came forward and told ‘come I will lift you”. But this short boy replied, “No, I want to hit that without any one’s help”. After saying that he ran from the place where other boys had marked to start of the running to hit the bell, he just fell down without hitting the bell. Other boys started laughing and teasing this short boy. Boy looked down with embarrassment and tears started running down his cheeks.
All of them started going towards home. This heavy headed short boy was taking slow steps at the end. After going some distance, he turned furiously and started running from there and jumped putting all his effort. This time he didn’t fall down, but was able to hit the bell. Hearing the bell sound all the boys turned and ran towards him, all the boys were jumping with joy. Boy wiped tears with his smile.
There was a clapping sound from other side also. It was from the couple sitting near by who were closely watching all this, were clapping and showed victory symbol to the boy. Boy went from there with the heart filled with joy. These lovers were sitting there since quite a long time. The silence was the only means of communication between them. Having no hopes about their future they were totally disturbed and were sitting there as if something has fallen on their heads. They had come there to commit suicide. But after watching that boy’s incident, they were able to put a smile on their face, broke the silence and decided to face the life with all the courage.
That’s how life is. We never know, about this life’s lesson, when, How, Where, From whom, Will it come. Ruk jaana nahin Tu kahin Haar ke…..song was lingering in the ears.
When we loose we should not take the step backwards, we should not loose the heart to fight. We have to try again with much better preparation. Put all that YOU HAVE IT in YOU.

Sad news, which I had read few days back, on suicide committed by a PhD scholar in IIT Kanpur (http://in.rediff.com/news/2006/nov/06phd.htm) is the reason for me to write this article. It’s very sad that nowadays people are so easily getting into depression and resort to committing suicide as last attempt to free themselves from the problems.

[Taiwan Diary]: Smile - The Difference…!

I started writing this just when flight took off. Uff!!! It was really a pleasant experience. After all the security check, just when I entered outside of waiting room. The flight was just in front of me in the vast ground, waiting alone for me, like my fiancée waiting for the wedlock! Vast empty field was looking like clear beautiful face of a girl!!
Stepped inside the plane, what a Welcome! A gorgeous lady welcomed saying "Good Evening Sir" with a beautiful everlasting smile.
The world always looks brighter from behind a smile.
Then I went inside in search of my seat. On the way happened to see many beautiful smiles! I was just about to get inside; one guy interrupted me, saying," Let me go inside". I asked, "What's your seat no?" he replied "24F", I said, "No mine is 24F, just check it". He checked it was found to be 23F, he said sorry for the confusion. I smiled saying "its Ok fine".
"A smile is a curve that sets everything straight."
I settled comfortably in my window side seat. There was no hara-kiri of getting seat like in BMTC!!! That was the major difference!
As I was traveling alone only thoughts accompanied me very well. Take off was announced, I was ready to fly like a bird, but inside a bird for a change!
If you smile when no one else is around, you really mean it.
The way Airhostess was speaking, the way she was moving around. The way she was taking care of everyone like family members, it was really impressive. A question hit my mind instantly," why don't we be like this in day-to-day life?". Smiling Face it make so much difference to all, it make others feel so comfortable."
A smile is the light in the window of your face that tells people you're at home.
They do the same job as waiters to do in hotels, but so much difference! Its not who served made the difference, it was what they were wearing made all the difference. That was beautiful " Smile".
You're never fully dressed without a smile.
It was really nice experience to talk to them. When they offered food it was already gone past 12 'O clock in the night. I started eating, what a strange timing! I was having dinner, during ghost's dinnertime!
When I started writing this, plane was shaking, like it happens in train while stopping. After a very long time, one air hostess asked me with a wonderful smile on her face," What are you writing Sir? You have been writing since so long". I replied, "I am writing my experience!" Then she asked," Where are you from?" I said "Karnataka", and then she asked, "Are you going to Singapore?" I said, "No, to Taiwan". She smiled back saying "Have a pleasant stay Sir".
A smile is an inexpensive way to change your looks.

" Life is like a mirror, we get the best results when we smile at it. "
Later I closed my eyes to enter wonderful dreamland OTA!

Friends ………"SMILE A LOT, IT COSTS NOTHING "
Always remember to Smile because you never know who's falling in love with your smile.
If you don't start out the day with a smile, it's not too late to start practicing for tomorrow.

Keep Smiling,
Signing Off…

Forgotten…..

When we see him we say “soooo cute……soooooo nice” we love him so much but we start forgetting him as we grow up. When we talk to him, we talk like he does but we dont do the same things that he does to enjoy the life. We know that he ignores what others think of him, only thing he knows is “He tries his best to get what he wants and he takes each and every success as great enjoyment”. We love to see him happy like that but we don’t follow him.
He has the power to enlighten the lives of many, bringing smiles on their faces. His every nature is liked by everyone but still we ignore following him!!!
At least we have to make our heart like his but we don’t.

We believe him so much that, we don’t trust anybody else more than him. We still don’t appreciate to imitate him. We don’t follow his rules as we worry that people might think “we are immature”.
“We know collection of small drops make a big ocean….”
“Being happy for small things make the whole Life Happy” that’s what he teaches us….we know this, but we still don’t implement it even after seeing him …!!! So strange…!!!
Who is this??? He is none other than the Child….Yes the child in Us….

Wakeup the sleeping child….
Our happiness guide….

Be like a Child to enjoy life to the fullest…………..
Nowadays IT mothers don’t have enough time to spend time with their kids. So because of that, Play Homes are having a good business. Nowadays one common dialogue parents are telling to their kid, when it wants parent’s lap to sleep is, “don’t depend on others, and try to learn to be independent”. I have seen many times while traveling, in the car parents sitting at front and the kid playing with the doll in the back seat. What you give is what you get, i.e. reason why Old Age Homes are so crowded. There is some saying,”The greatest gift that can be given is TIME”.
When clay is soft, it can be given any shape…..its in our hand to decide.

[My Insights]: Purpose

Birth or death which takes place will not be our choice, but in between the way we make our living is by our choice. So whatever and however we are now is because of our choice.
It’s always our choice to be in right frame of mind, to lead happy life everyday, but still we end up the day quite boringly. Similar days gets added up very often, then life start to seem very boring. Its like cricket, too many balls without runs makes it very boring.
If we can analyze in technical way what could be the root cause? Hmm… let’s analyze step by step. When we come to office rather when we are working we don’t get bored, just because we will have task(s) in hand. We plan the things and make up our mind to complete the task.
In office also we get bored when we don’t have work. In other words, life doesn’t seem interesting when we don’t have purpose in our day to day life. When we spend time without any purpose as such, we do say,” It was boring, so did this/that/something….”
It won’t affect us much if we have very few days with no purpose. But its effect is really heartening in aged people. We can analyze the effect, if we can put ourselves in the shoes of someone who is retired and has accomplished whatever he had intended to.
When we take birth, early days of our childhood with and without purposefulness don’t make any difference on us. But the result of act of purposefulness and without purposefulness of our parents does make a difference on us.
When we start growing and going to schools, we do have focus on scoring good marks in the exams and other entertainment activities. Then getting degree, job, marriage, Children, their study and then their marriages, follows one after the other. After everything gets over, we get retirement and start spending time at home without any purpose. Life seems boring; start living just for the sake of it. Starts negative thinking, “our life is only this much, all over now” this is what they say.
What is the solution for this?
Only way is to bring back the purpose in life. Life is so abundant that, even if we live for 100 complete years without wasting any time, it’s still very little for us to explore the life! So much is there in the life. Always we need to keep ourselves busy. Mother is the best example, always she keeps herself busy with many household activities. She will never get bored. (And other example, engaged people will never get bored as long as they get married ;-) )

Planning for learning something new creates overall purpose for some days. Then plan for, what to do, what not to, on day to day basis creates purpose for each day. The moment we have some purpose in our mind, life will never be a boring journey.
I was getting bored doing nothing, so forcefully created some purpose in my mind to write something and the result, is in front of you.

Have Purposeful, Wonderful, Cheerful life ahead,
Cheers!!!
