It was the time for all of us to depart in search of our destinations. Yeah it was then we had just finished our final degree exams. We were counting our final days at hostel. All that autograph exchange had just begun. When I got back my autograph book in hand, I was very curious to know what my friends might have written about me. I was going through that book; it’s one of my greatest treasures of life. It’s always good to read something good about ourselves from others!! Sometimes it helps to lift ourselves from difficult situations. Our ego comes into picture when they write something else!
In that autograph, one suggestion struck me most, which was from one of my best friends of all time. “Do the things, if you feel it’s absolutely right, even though it might seem wrong to others. As long as you know, what is right and wrong, I guess, there won’t be much problem. Because you can’t satisfy everyone around you, as each one of them will have different opinions”. After reading, at that very moment, I made my mind still stronger, to take this as a challenge, to prove that she was wrong.
Now more than 4 years passed by then, I have come across variety of people and situations. Only one truth persists still, we can’t please everyone around us always!
When we go shopping, without bargaining we will not be happy to buy and if we bargain more, seller won’t be happy to sell it. When the wife gives birth to the baby, more of her attention will be on the baby. She will not be able to give attention to her husband, as how she used to give before the baby’s birth, she will not be able to please her husband. That’s how things happen in our life.
It’s very difficult to have times, where in, all around us talk nothing ill of others whom we know.
While trying to please some one, we end up hurting the other.
Being the boss is very difficult to handle all the situations. During crunch situations, when the big boss has pressurized him to get some work done, he will put more pressure on his subordinates against their will, to please his big boss. That’s how things happen…!!!
Life is a journey not a destination, we can explore more and learn more when we move further. Our life is like a free flowing river, it can’t accomplish great standing still, and it has to move ahead all the time…
